The IQ Gateway is responsible for communication within the Enphase system. This communication tool monitors the status and performance of every microinverter and every solar panel in the system. The information is subsequently sent directly to you and your consumer over the Internet. The IQ Gateway is easy to install and offers multiple Internet connectivity options. Aside from that, the IQ Gateway can also be used in combination with smart energy devices. The IQ Gateway is available in 2 versions:

• IQ Gateway Standard: this communication tool lets you monitor energy consumption.
• IQ Gateway Metered: this version lets you monitor both production and consumption. This newest version can also be used in combination with an Enphase battery.

As standard, each IQ Gateway comes with a 5-year product warranty.

Enphase Enlighten

Enphase Enlighten is the accompanying software that lets you track the performance of the system and that will automatically send a warning in the event of a malfunction. This software makes it extremely easy for you as an installer to manage your systems, while the Installer Toolkit lets you take care of the full installation and configuration beforehand. The Enlighten software can used on a PC, tablet, or smartphone.

An Enphase system is made up of the following components:

• Microinverters: these microinverters operate autonomously from each other, which ensures optimum efficiency of the solar energy system.
• IQ Gateway (communication): thanks to IQ Gateway, every microinverter is connected to the monitoring software (Enlighten).
• Enlighten (software): Enphase Enlighten provides insight into the solar energy system’s current working condition for both the installer and end customer.
• Cables: the turnkey 2.5mm² connector ensures simple and safe connection to Enphase microinverters.
• Accessories: the frame support, mounting clamp, and cable accessories ensure a neat and tidy finish of the system.
